Here in the ServiceNow Centre of Excellence and Innovation, we are on a mission to transform Lloyds Banking Group. To realise this, we need a shift towards new approaches in developing the processes, systems and applications that underpin the Bank.

We are achieving this by exploiting the capability of ServiceNow, an industry leading tool in automating colleagues’ experiences to enhance customer outcomes. Since the implementation of ServiceNow in 2018, we have delivered immense value through the platform, now hosting over 50 business processes spanning Risk,ITSM, Cyber, Change and GRC…and we are just getting started.

We are recruiting for a Tester who will work in a highly collaborative / Agile environment. Working hand in hand with Technical Squad Leads, Scrum Teams and Product Owners to test and validate success criteria delivered through Agile development.

    What you’ll need:


    Experience & Technical Skills

    • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in testing on the ServiceNow platform.

    • Proven experience in testing across multiple ServiceNow modules such as GRC, ITBM, ITSM, CMDB, and Integrations.

    • Strong understanding of Service Catalog, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and general integration workflows.

    • Basic knowledge of ServiceNow development components including Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, ACLs, and Roles.

    • Experience in creating and maintaining tests using Automated Test Framework (ATF).

    • Ability to design Test Cases, develop Test Plans, and define Test Strategies.

    • Independently performs manual testing for new and existing ServiceNow modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and platform standards.

    • Defines test coverage and scope for features and workflows, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met.

    • Develops and maintains automation scripts for regression and functional testing; executes and monitors automated test runs.

    • Identifies gaps in automation coverage and recommends enhancements.

    • Supports non-functional testing activities such as performance and accessibility testing.

    • Logs, tracks, and manages defects using standard processes; collaborates with developers and stakeholders for timely resolution.

    • Works closely with developers, business analysts, and SMEs to validate test scenarios and resolve testing challenges.

    • Actively participates in Agile ceremonies, providing test insights and identifying dependencies or blockers.

    • Shares feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of testing and automation practices.

    • Provides test execution reports using standard templates to keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues.

    • Conducts exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues beyond scripted tests.

    • Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.

    • Evaluates constraints, risks, and dependencies effectively.

    • While not a primary responsibility, may informally mentor peers and share knowledge.

    • Offers suggestions to improve testing processes, automation coverage, and skill development initiatives.
