As a Quality Engineer I, you’ll help ensure our products meet customer expectations and industry standards while supporting continuous improvement across the organization. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Inspection, and supplier teams to analyze data, solve problems, and enhance process capability. This role is designed for an Engineer who wants hands on experience, cross functional collaboration, and opportunities to make a measurable impact.
What You’ll Do...
- Strengthen product quality and compliance by performing inspections, reviewing documentation, and supporting internal and supplier audits.
- Reduce scrap, rework, and process variation by identifying root causes, applying structured problem solving methods, and recommending improvements to processes, equipment, or product designs.
- Support new product and process introduction through APQP activities, drawing and specification reviews, first article evaluations, and preparation of PPAP documentation.
- Improve measurement and inspection systems by conducting capability studies, Measurement System Analysis, and evaluating first article results.
- Enhance internal and incoming inspection processes and collaborate with suppliers to resolve material issues and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Maintain alignment with ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949, and AS9100 standards through internal audits, documentation control, and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute to industrial engineering work such as equipment evaluations, time studies, method analysis, and preparing reports and data visualizations that support operational decisions.
- Support team development when needed and uphold safety, quality, and ethical standards while maintaining an organized work environment.
Who You Are...
- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and have 2–4 years of experience or equivalent knowledge, including internships or co ops.
- You’re familiar with quality or manufacturing engineering concepts, communicate clearly, stay organized, and are comfortable with MS Office and statistical or modeling tools.
- You meet required vision standards (20/20 in one eye and color perception per J1).
