Quality Engineer Intern

Overview
The Quality Engineer Intern will support the quality department in maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with internal standards, and assisting with validation activities. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented candidate interested in quality systems, process improvement, and hands‑on experience within a regulated environment. This position is open for currently enrolled or recently graduated college students looking for a internship throughout the months of May through August.

Responsibilities

• Scan, archive, and manage quality binders and controlled documents
• Digitize various documents for proper record retention
• Update and maintain controlled documents within the quality management system
• Assist in audits and support functions for ISO 9001 and 13985 certifications
• Help distribute updated quality policies across the organization
• Support naming conventions and labeling/stickering processes for calibrated materials
• Participate in software validation tasks, including documentation preparation and test execution support
• Ensure validation records are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal procedures
• Engage in root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and CAPA activities to support quality needs throughout the organization
• Compliance and regulatory activities as needed

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a field related to project management and compliance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation
• Interest in quality systems, compliance, and process improvement
• Basic familiarity with engineering and quality principles is a plus

Pay: From $20.50 per hour
