This Quality Engineer (QE) Senior will report to the Quality & Mission Success manager for F-35 Wing Systems at the Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility. The QE will be expected to regularly review manufacturing defects for root cause and corrective action, partner with Production Operations to mitigate scrap, rework and repair generated during standard manufacturing processes, develop inspection methods as needed, and perform various analyses of quality-related data. The QE is expected to spend time on the production floor to establish process familiarity, build relationships with Production personnel, and share quality engineering knowledge with junior QEs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM or business discipline

• Demonstrated experience using quality science tools to solve manufacturing problems

• Experience in an engineering or quality role

Desired Skills:

• Hands-on inspection experience in a manufacturing environment; ability to use various precision measurement instruments

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

• Six Sigma Green Belt

• Tableau or similar data visualization experience

• Experience leading teams or projects in a formal or informal capacity

• Graduation from a corporate leadership development program such as QTLD, OLDP, ELDP, etc.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
