Responsibilities / Functions:

Oversee the overall quality management system
to ensure products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).

Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality and Inspection Team
to achieve departmental goals and customer expectations.

Responsible for the review and approval of engineering packets for new orders as part of cross-functional reviews.

Develop and implement
Process Control Plans and PFMEA’s.

Interact with external customers and suppliers regarding product non-conformances, conducting failure analysis when required.

Initiate and manage internal and external Corrective Actions
(CAR’s / SCAR’s).

Supervise incoming and first article inspection areas, ensuring accurate and timely generation of customer PPAP reports.

Determine sampling plans, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability trend data.

Manage the Calibration program, ensuring tooling and equipment are scheduled for calibration at defined intervals, and maintaining accurate calibration records.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies such as FMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Analyze data to identify trends, resolve problems, and implement effective solutions to enhance quality and efficiency.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

Minimum of three to five years of progressive quality experience, with demonstrated leadership experience.

Proven experience leading a team to success.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100
quality management systems.

Experience with FMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Demonstrated experience in engineering project management and scheduling based on customer requirements.
