Quality Engineer/Inspector – Coating/Painting and Welding (Steel Fabrication)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer/Inspector to oversee coating, painting, and welding processes for the steel fabrication company. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control procedures and a commitment to maintaining high standards. The candidates should be available in UAE.

Responsibilities;

· Inspecting and verifying the quality of coating, painting, and welding processes to ensure compliance with company standards and relevant industry codes.

· Following quality control procedures for coating, painting, and welding operations.

· Maintaining detailed inspection records and reports.

· Identifying and resolving quality issues.

· Maintaining familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures.

· Working with production teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.

· Assisting with the development and implementation of corrective actions for identified nonconformities.

Qualifications:

· Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Welding Engineering preferred)

· Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar quality control role within a steel fabrication environment.

· NACE Level 2 certification (preferred) or BGAS Level 2 and AWS CWI (preferred) or CSWIP 3.1 certification.

· Strong understanding of relevant welding codes and standards

· Proficient in using inspection and testing equipment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
