As a Quality Inspection & Manufacturing Engineer at 10xconstruction. You will play a key role in ensuring the precision, reliability, and consistency of components used in our advanced mobile robotic platforms and working closely with the Mechanical Engineers and production teams. You will be responsible for the inspection, validation, and continuous improvement of manufactured parts. This role offers hands-on experience in quality control, fabrication processes, and the integration of mechanical assemblies in a high-performance robotics environment.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and in-house manufactured components.
 - Verify tolerances, finishes, and geometric accuracy against CAD and technical drawings.
 - Document inspection results, identify non-conformities, and coordinate corrective actions with the production team.
 - Support first article inspection (FAI) and maintain inspection reports for traceability.
 - Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to provide feedback on manufacturability and quality improvements.
 - Conduct basic calibration checks on measuring instruments and ensure their reliability.
 - Assist in defining and implementing quality assurance procedures and work instructions.
 - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and inspection workflows.
 
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI+ 3 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
 - Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD drawings and GD&T symbols.
 - Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, etc..
 - Strong analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail.
 - Excellent communication skills in Kannada, Hindi and English.
 - Ability to work independently and collaborate across production and design teams.
 - Preferable located in Bangalore and own a two wheeler.
 
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards or equivalent.
 - Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, fabrication, and assembly.
 - Exposure to non-conformance management and root-cause analysis.
 - Knowledge of sheet metal and machined part tolerances.
