Job Title: Quality Inspection Specialist (Operations Specialist – Assets Life Cycle)
Location: Depends on Project / UAE
Position Summary:
The Quality Inspection Specialist is responsible for overseeing asset integrity throughout its lifecycle, developing inspection strategies, managing inspection teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and engineering standards. The role involves planning and executing inspections, investigating asset failures, managing budgets, and reporting on asset conditions and associated risks to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Manage Inspection Programs:
- Create and oversee comprehensive asset inspection and maintenance strategies.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and manage a team of inspectors and technicians.
- Develop training plans and address performance issues.
- Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure all inspections and maintenance activities comply with safety, regulatory, and engineering standards.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect and analyze inspection data to identify trends, assess risks, and provide insights to senior leadership.
- Incident Investigation:
- Investigate asset failures and malfunctions to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Budget & Contract Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for inspection and maintenance activities.
- Manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Collaboration & Risk Management:
- Work with operations, procurement, and finance departments to align asset management goals.
- Implement Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies and develop risk assessments for complex maintenance tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years in operations within the same industry, including reporting and data analysis.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering, Science, or Management.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail for accurate inspections and reporting.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology systems.
- Valid driving license (if required).
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience:
- 5–6 years in asset integrity management, inspection, or related fields.
- Experience in mechanical infrastructure or similar sectors.
- Education/Certifications:
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to AED6,000.00 per month
