Job Purpose
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in quality assurance within the aerospace industry, with a keen eye for detecting deviations and ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of products at various stages of the Integration or assembly line process, including materials, components, sub assemblies, and final products.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify conformity with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Validate curing cycle in Autoclave or Oven.
- Identify and document non conformities, defects, and deviations from established standards, and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with production personnel, engineers, and quality assurance teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, certifications, and customer requirements related to aeronautical product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, test results, and quality documentation in accordance with established procedures.
- Participate in quality audits and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 year's experience with aerostructure primary structure composite manufacturing. Strong familiarity with composite manufacturing and associated inspection methods.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation related to aeronautical products.
- Must be familiar with SQCDP, 5+1S, 5why's or any other Root Cause analysis process.
- Previous certification with NDT level 2 for A Scan, C Scan or thermography will be highly considered.
