Job Purpose

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in quality assurance within the aerospace industry, with a keen eye for detecting deviations and ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of products at various stages of the Integration or assembly line process, including materials, components, sub assemblies, and final products.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify conformity with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Validate curing cycle in Autoclave or Oven.
• Identify and document non conformities, defects, and deviations from established standards, and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with production personnel, engineers, and quality assurance teams to address quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, certifications, and customer requirements related to aeronautical product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, test results, and quality documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Participate in quality audits and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 year's experience with aerostructure primary structure composite manufacturing. Strong familiarity with composite manufacturing and associated inspection methods.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation related to aeronautical products.
• Must be familiar with SQCDP, 5+1S, 5why's or any other Root Cause analysis process.
• Previous certification with NDT level 2 for A Scan, C Scan or thermography will be highly considered.
