Quality Inspector

Join Spartan Scientific (Canfield Industries) as a Quality Assurance Inspector, where you’ll help ensure our solenoid valves and fluid control products meet quality and performance standards before reaching customers.

This is a hands-on role working directly with parts, assemblies, and test equipment—ideal for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work and being involved in the production process.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect and test parts, assemblies, and finished products
• Identify defects and record inspection results
• Perform in-process and final inspections
• Use gauges, meters, and testing equipment (pressure, electrical, etc.)
• Follow drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials
• Communicate quality issues with supervisors and maintenance
• Support other departments when needed

No prior QA experience required—we’re willing to train the right candidate with strong attention to detail.

What You Need

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, decimals, percentages)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures and work independently

Preferred (Not Required)

• Manufacturing or quality inspection experience
• Experience using measurement tools or test equipment
• Soldering or electrical testing experience

Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting
• Mix of sitting and standing
• Lifting up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
• Exposure to testing equipment, light fumes, and moderate noise
