Quality Inspector

The Quality Floor Inspector is responsible for evaluating the quality of production parts
using blueprints, inspection tools, gauges, and documented standards. This role ensures
all product tags and labels meet identification requirements and are affixed properly. The
inspector also supports continuous improvement by identifying non-conformances and
participating in rework and quality control projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect production parts to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards.
Use blueprints, hand tools, and gauges to evaluate product quality.
Ensure all tags/labels meet product identification standards and are properly applied.
Report non-conforming conditions to supervisors promptly.
Participate in sorting, rework, and packing of parts as needed.
Assist with quality improvement initiatives and document control.
Comply with all required SOPs and quality/safety documentation.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to read, use, and calibrate digital and dial calipers as well as micrometers
Familiarity with standard quality inspection tools and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to work independently and follow written/verbal instructions.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift/move parts as needed.
