Responsibilities

You will oversee all quality assurance and control activities for data center construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that projects meet the required standards, codes, and regulations. The manager will work closely with the project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that the quality of work aligns with the company’s expectations and industry best practices.

• Develop and implement QA/QC policies, procedures, and plans for data center construction projects.
• Establish quality control systems, standards, and specifications to ensure the highest level of compliance.
• Perform regular inspections, audits, and tests to ensure quality benchmarks are being met.
• Support commissioning process and integrated systems testing (IST) with quality oversight
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations (ISO, ASHRAE, etc.).
• Oversee all project documentation, including ITPs (Inspection Test Plans) inspection reports, checklists, material tests, and quality records / logs.
• Review and approve project deliverables (related to quality control and quality assurance) to ensure they meet the established quality criteria.
• Periodically report on quality metrics and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
  
  

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• QA/QC certification (e.g., ISO 9001, ASQ, etc.) is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in QA/QC roles, with at least 3 years in the data center industry or critical infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing quality on large-scale construction projects, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent understanding of data center infrastructure, including MEP systems, cooling, and electrical distribution.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
