You will join the Evacuation Systems Business Unit (SEV), part of the DASY Division, a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of evacuation slides, life rafts, and life vests for aircraft, as well as flotation systems for helicopters.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
Demonstrate HSE leadership by ensuring the health and safety of the team and actively supporting the site's HSE initiatives. Oversee HSE performance, ensuring compliance with standards, identifying and mitigating risks, leading event analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Provide necessary HSE training, maintain team certifications, and supply appropriate resources, fostering a culture of accountability in HSE performance.
Organization & Leadership:
Coordinate and lead daily activities of the inspection team in either Assembly or Packing. Allocate work, manage administrative processes, lead daily team meetings, and act as a key communicator to unite teams around objectives and drive continuous improvement. Support team integration and adaptation during organizational or operational changes while maintaining positive employee relations.
Team Development:
Assess individual and collective team skills to address current and future needs. Oversee career development through performance reviews, skill development, and recommendations on compensation. Promote team unity and provide the necessary support to empower team members.
Operational Responsibilities:
Performance & Quality:
Define and implement actions to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and improvement (SQCDPI) objectives. Ensure alignment of workload with schedules, analyze root causes of failures, and sustainable corrective measures. Contribute to production engineering and manage inspection documentation. Identify and address non-conformances, participate in quality audits, and perform First Article Inspections as needed.
Oversight & Strategy:
Monitor the production area using performance dashboards and indicators. Anticipate, define, and implement corrective actions, communicate outcomes, and support the definition of industrial strategy and objectives for the area.
Improvement & Innovation:
Innovation:
Foster a culture of daily innovation by encouraging out-of-the-box thinking and transforming employee-driven ideas into tangible improvements. Ensure compliance with existing standards, capitalize on best practices, and maintain high levels of workplace organization according to the 5S methodology.
