Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Lead Auditor with strong experience in EIAC-accredited inspection bodies to ensure full compliance with ISO/IEC 17020, manage quality systems, and lead internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the management system in line with ISO/IEC 17020 and EIAC requirements.
- Plan, conduct, and lead internal audits and support EIAC assessments, surveillance, and witness audits.
- Ensure compliance with EIAC policies, accreditation rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and records as required by EIAC.
- Manage non-conformities, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with technical managers and inspectors to ensure inspection activities meet impartiality, independence, and competence requirements.
- Conduct internal training and awareness sessions on ISO/IEC 17020 and EIAC requirements.
- Act as the key point of contact for EIAC-related audits and communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a third-party inspection body accredited to ISO/IEC 17020.
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (ISO/IEC 17020 Lead Auditor is highly preferred).
- Strong hands-on experience with EIAC accreditation processes, assessments, and closure of findings.
- Excellent documentation, audit, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of inspection body operations and regulatory compliance in the UAE.
