Quality Manager

Position Overview:

Our client in Charlotte, NC, is a growing and innovative manufacturing company specializing in custom products. They are seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance operations across their facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems that ensure consistent product excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

This is a hands-on leadership role offering the opportunity to drive meaningful change in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the quality assurance department, including quality inspectors and technicians

• Develop, implement, and maintain ISO-based quality systems and procedures

• Oversee quality audits, corrective actions, and root cause analysis

• Monitor product and process quality performance using metrics and reporting tools

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve quality outcomes

• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and applicable regulations

• Serve as the main point of contact for quality issues internally and externally

• Train and mentor team members in quality best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality management role

• Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 or similar)

• Experience with corrective/preventive action (CAPA), audits, and statistical process control

• Proven leadership and team development skills

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

• Certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma, or related (a plus)
