We have an exciting opportunity for a successful, detailed and results driven Quality Manager to join our team to provide leadership for our quality initiatives!

What you will bring to our organization:

• BS in Quality, Engineering, or related technical field or a 2-year Technical Degree and 4 years’ experience in a relevant field. Or any combination of education and experience to be considered equivalent.
• In-depth understanding of quality control procedures
• Proven experience in the areas of process control and production in the manufacturing setting. Lean manufacturing knowledge is preferred
• A high knowledge of measurement equipment (tape measure, caliper, micrometer, and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Supervisory experience a plus
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Team oriented, approachable, respectful, and willing to engage with the production floor environment
• Excellent ability to communicate including interpersonal and customer service skills
• Detail and result-driven
• Proficient with MS software packages; Excel, Word, Office, Etc.

What your responsibilities will be:

• Demonstrate an understanding of customer needs and ensure our products and services exceed customer expectations
• Manage the A. J. Quality Department and work seamlessly with internal departments such as Engineering, Operations/Production, Training and Purchasing to support product form, fit and function. This may include customer and supplier interaction.
• Lead Quality Management System (QMS) software. Monitor, measure, analyze, and continually improve quality metrics as part of the quality management system.
• Participate in the development, documentation and implementation of the controls necessary to achieve a consistent and reproducible process for new and existing products.
• Participate in cross-functional and product development teams.
• Lead and participate in problem-solving and corrective action activities and projects.
• Leadership role in Quality Audit both internally and externally.

Competitive salary commensurate with education and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
