Quality Manager

Technical Knowledge:

• Full understanding of QC and QA tools and principles .
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) .
• Ability to develop procedures, inspection standards and acceptance criteria .
• Experience with root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, CAPA).
• Knowledge of product safety and hygiene requirements for tissue manufacturing (BRC, GMP, ISO, SFDA if applicable).
• Understanding of raw materials :
• Pulp types
• Chemicals (softeners, wet strength resin)
• Monitor machine parameters affecting quality.
• Ensure proper changeover control .
• Manage customer complaints and implement corrective actions .
• Communicate with customers on specs, TDS, and improvement plans.
• Lead improvement projects to:
• Reduce waste
• Improve yield
• Enhance product quality
• Reduce customer complaints

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, or related field.
• Strong experience in tissue / paper converting/cartoon manufacturing.
• Previous experience leading a Quality Management System (QMS) (ISO 9001, FSC-COC).
• Hands-on experience with tissue production processes, including:
• Jumbo roll specifications
• Slitting & rewinding
• Embossing
• Familiarity with lab testing for tissue products (basis weight, tensile strength, absorbency, softness, thickness, moisture, dust content…).

Leadership & Management Skills:

• Ability to lead the quality team (QC supervisors, inspectors, lab technicians).
• Strong communication with Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Sales .
• Ability to enforce quality culture in the company.
• Excellent reporting and data analysis skills.
