Job Summary:
Overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO9001, ITAR, and customer requirements. This role leads quality assurance, documentation control, internal audits, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance for a CNC machining environment. This position ensures all processes, records, and controls meet customer, regulatory, and government contract requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and lead continuous improvement to Quality Management System, an ISO9001 certified system.
  • Work within APQP practices for job launches
  • Manage and approve PPAP internal and supplier related
  • Manage supplier quality approvals and evaluations
  • Handle customer complaints and corrective actions
  • Support new customer onboarding documentation
  • Maintain controlled document system
  • Manage retention requirements per customer (government or other)
  • Ensure traceability requirements are followed
  • Lead internal and external audits, including registrar audits
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and forms
  • Ensure document control and revision control compliance
  • Establish and monitor KPI’s related to quality, scrap, rework, and customer complaints
  • Maintain documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with ITAR regulations
  • Control Visitor logs and export control records
  • Support ITAR regulatory audits
  • Work with IT to ensure policies for data security, access control, backups, and incident Maintain training records

Education/Skills/Abilities:

  • 5+ years in manufacturing quality management
  • Strong experience with ISO 9001
  • ERP Experience
  • Blueprint reading skills
  • Document writing and spreadsheet form management and creation
  • Experience with ITAR preferred
  • Lead Auditor Certification ISO 9001 preferred
  • Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience
  • Strong communication skills

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for the office and manufacturing environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 20 pounds. When working in the manufacturing environment, requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
