About the Role:
The Quality Manager plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance across all manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive quality systems that align with company goals and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager acts as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and suppliers to uphold quality expectations and drive continuous improvement. By establishing best practices in testing, inspection, and calibration, this role supports the delivery of reliable, high-performance products and fosters a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Requirements:
· Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, or equivalent.
· Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance functions.
· Strong knowledge of quality control inspection and testing procedures and techniques.
· Working knowledge of ISO 9000 standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop, administer, and maintain quality system procedures to ensure that products meet established requirements.
· Define test standards and specify test equipment and procedures.
· Schedule and control inspection activities, either directly or through supervision.
· Develop quality standards and participate in design review meetings.
· Collaborate with customer and supplier representatives to review quality control requirements and ensure compliance.
· Perform special assignments related to product support, including data gathering and analysis for maintaining the Quality Management data system.
· Establish and maintain a calibration program for instrumentation to ensure traceability.
· Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the Quality Program through audits, tests, and inspection data.
Safety & Environmental Responsibilities:
May work with or near hazardous materials, including but not limited to:
· Hydrofluoric Acid
· Sulfuric Acid
· Acetone
· Isopropyl Alcohol
· Cleaning Compounds
· Other site-specific chemicals
Attend required safety training including Hazard Communication and Injury & Illness Prevention Program sessions. Promote a culture of safety and ensure team compliance with all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
