Quality officer - Healthcare

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Officer to oversee and manage the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and UAE healthcare regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management & Compliance

  • Conduct periodic audit visits, develop compliance reports, and review findings with Top Management.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, regulatory requirements (DOH-DHA-MOH), and company policies.
  • Ensure the organization does not incur fines or litigation due to quality non-compliance.
  • Promote awareness of ISO 9001:2015 and regulatory requirements across the organization.
  • Report to Top Management on QMS performance and recommend improvements.
  • Develop quality audit reports, assess company risks, and implement improvement plans.
  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining locally and internationally recognized quality compliance certifications and awards.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits as per defined schedules.
  • Support Management Review Meetings (MRM) and 3rd party audits.
  • Coordinate external audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
  • Create and update policies, work instructions, and standard forms to enhance QMS performance.
  • Maintain and control QMS records and documentation.
  • Assist in inspections, team meetings, and report overall QMS performance to GM / Management Representative.

Procurement & Logistics Support

  • Liaise with third parties to obtain relevant certifications for company facilities.
  • Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers; confirm final purchase orders.
  • Arrange payment requests and coordinate transfers to supplier accounts.
  • Verify and confirm supplier invoice statements for accurate and timely payment.
  • Obtain and confirm transport quotations and follow up on shipment collection and delivery.
  • Prepare and review documentation required for customs clearance.
  • Ensure orders are received at the warehouse in a timely manner for client delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in healthcare or medical facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and UAE healthcare regulations (DOH/DHA/MOH).
  • Experience in internal and external audits.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement and logistics processes is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
