Quality Review Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Registered Nurse (RN) Quality Review Specialist to join our team. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with a 3:2 split (three days in the office, two days remote). In this role, you will play a key part in improving patient care by reviewing clinical documentation, analyzing quality metrics, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.

You’ll work closely with clinical and compliance teams to support continuous quality improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for enhanced patient outcomes, and help maintain the highest standards of care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews of clinical documentation, medical records, and case files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

• Monitor, analyze, and report on quality indicators and performance metrics.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for clinical improvement.

• Support audits and accreditation processes, including preparation and follow-up.

• Provide education and guidance to clinical staff on documentation standards, quality requirements, and best practices.

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday - 8am-5pm - 3 days in-office and 2 days remote

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license.

• Strong understanding of clinical standards.

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Monday, EHR.

• Effective communication, interpersonal and attention to detail skills with a collaborative approach.
