Job Purpose
We are looking for a detail oriented Quality Specialist to uphold our quality and food safety standards across corporate and franchisee branches. You will be the driving force behind compliance, auditing, training, and continuous improvement within our QSR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation and compliance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all franchisee and corporate branches.
- Train and coach branch teams on identified gaps, quality compliance, food safety requirements, and Barns corporate standards.
- Conduct branch audits covering food safety, hygiene, and operational quality standards.
- Monitor and drive KPI achievement through structured follow ups with franchisee and corporate teams.
- Lead and track CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) closure within defined timelines.
- Perform warehouse audits to ensure compliance in storage, handling, and distribution practices.
- Support supplier qualification and evaluation, particularly for local vendors.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory and food safety requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit records for all quality activities.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Certification in Food Safety / ISO / HACCP is preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality systems Management within the QSR or food industry.
- Experience in quality compliance, audits, and food safety systems.
- Exposure to franchise operations / QSR is preferred.
