SUMMARY: Responsible for implementing the company quality system and policy in support of internal and external customer requirements. Supervise all Quality Inspectors. Data is collected and accurate company records are maintained by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

• Supervise Quality Inspectors and support their daily activities.
• Collect data to construct and analyze statistical process control graphs.
• Perform receiving inspections duties as required on raw materials.
• Perform dimensional layouts for MEO’s and PPAP as required.
• Utilize lab equipment and gages when appropriate.
• Update part folders if applicable (NY only).
• Post Quality Alerts and update concern log when required.
• Support non-conforming product process and help maintain QC Hold Area.
• Coordinate with Supervisors, Mold Techs and/or Operators to resolve part issues.
• Coordinate with 3rd party calibration services and maintain calibration records/certificates (CA only)
• Responsible for complying with the company’s Environmental Policy Manual, applicable work instructions and reporting any environmental nonconformance and/or potential nonconformance to supervision or management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSBIBILITIES: Supervises Quality Inspectors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable law. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
