Quality Surveyer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to prepare comprehensive material take-offs, BOQs, across all engineering disciplines during design development phases.

Key Engineering Responsibilities:

1. Technical Quantity Surveying:

• Prepare detailed material take-offs from engineering drawings for:
• Architectural (i.e. finishes, fixtures, cladding systems)
• Structural (i.e. reinforcement, steelwork, foundations)
• MEP (i.e. piping, ductwork, cable trays, equipment)
• Develop discipline-specific BOQs with technical specifications
• Create equipment schedules with manufacturer specifications
• Review/approve contractors’ invoices based on actual executed activities for supervision projects.

2. Documentation Management:

• Align BOQs with engineering specifications
• Track design change cost impacts

Essential Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Expert in:
• Multi-disciplinary MTOs (Arch/Struct/MEP)
• Engineering BOQ preparation (CSI MasterFormat or similar)
• Specification writing (NBS, MasterSpec, or custom formats)
• 5+ years in engineering consultancies
• Portfolio of engineering BOQs for complex projects
• Knowledge of EXPRO standard
• Background in all kind of engineering projects

Engineering-Specific Software:

Advanced Excel/ AutoCAD/BIM Tools/ Primavera
