Essential Job Functions

• Performs instrumental and wet chemistry analysis required on a routine basis
• Maintains accurate records, notebooks of analysis and work performed
• Maintains accuracy and reliability of all laboratory instruments
• Provides technical assistance and necessary documentation to Compounding, Production, Documentation, and Scheduling Departments as needed
• Comply with all GMP/GLP and customer requirements
• Always comply with all KIK Safety requirements
• Responsible for all QC testing of incoming chemical materials, in process, and finished product
• Ensure lab test equipment is properly always calibrated and before conducting any testing
• Maintains raw material information flow between the QC laboratory and Scheduling department
• Serves as a backup for the QC Lab Administrator
• Maintains the laboratory paperwork system according to cGMP’s
• Performs a first check on all incoming raw materials to verify trade name, manufacturer, certificate of analysis values, etc.
• Two-year vocational degree required
