About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Technician II with strong electrical testing experience to support inspection and testing of industrial control panels. In this role, you will ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and company quality standards through detailed inspection, electrical testing, and documentation.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with electrical schematics, and improving manufacturing quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and test industrial electrical control panels using blueprints, electrical schematics, work instructions, and quality check plans
- Perform electrical testing using multimeters, Hi-pot testers, power supplies, transformers, and other electronic test equipment
- Verify products meet customer specifications and regulatory standards
- Identify root causes of test failures and support corrective actions
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and test records
- Perform torque testing and verification of electrical components
- Support production teams and provide technical assistance to panel shop personnel
- Assist with quality documentation, test procedures, and process improvements
- Update quality metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Train new inspectors and assist with quality training for production employees
- Participate in quality and production meetings as needed
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in an electrical testing or quality inspection environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters, Hi-pot testers, and power supplies
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to use torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in Electrical Technology or a related field
- Experience with UL 508A or NFPA 70 standards
- Experience inspecting industrial control panels or electrical assemblies
Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing environment supporting electrical panel production and requires standing, walking, bending, and working around electrical equipment.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
