Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 2–4 years of experience to join our Contracting and Interior Fit-Outs division. The ideal candidate will support cost estimation, project budgeting, tendering, and contract administration while ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in line with quality standards. This is a great opportunity for a young professional to gain hands-on exposure in both construction and interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare material requirement sheets.
• Support in evaluating subcontractor quotations and preparing comparison statements.
• Assist in drafting contracts, variations, and interim payment certificates.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flows to ensure financial control.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, contracts, and site instructions.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Assist in preparing project progress and cost reports.
• Support in value engineering exercises to achieve cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in a contracting or interior fit-out company.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, tendering, and cost control.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS-related software (e.g., CostX/Planswift).
• Basic understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC knowledge is a plus).
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
