Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for interior fit-out projects.

Manage the full costing and estimation process from design stage to project award.

Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations, conduct negotiations, and recommend suppliers.

Prepare, review, and administer contracts, variations, and claims.

Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flows to ensure profitability.

Provide cost control and commercial support to the Project Manager and site teams.

Conduct value engineering exercises to ensure competitive pricing without compromising quality.

Prepare and submit interim payment applications, final accounts, and project close-out reports.

Maintain an updated vendor and supplier database for fit-out materials and services.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all commercial and contractual matters.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying for interior fit-out projects in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Excellent skills in cost estimation, tendering, and contract management.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software (Candy, CostX, or equivalent).

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
