Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation and Management:QS Engineers estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, and develop budgets. They monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and managing potential cost overruns.
  • Contract Management:They manage contracts, including preparing tender documents, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Quantity Surveying:QS Engineers measure, calculate, and record quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required for a project. They may also prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) for tendering purposes.
  • Financial Reporting:They prepare financial reports, including cost forecasts, progress reports, and reconciliations.
  • Value Engineering:They may analyze project costs and propose cost-effective solutions while maintaining project quality.
  • Dispute Resolution:QS Engineers may be involved in resolving disputes related to cost, quantities, or contract terms.
  • Collaboration:They work closely with other project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Skills Required:

  • Cost Estimation: Proficiency in estimating costs for construction projects is essential.
  • Quantity Surveying: Experience in measuring and calculating quantities of materials and labor.
  • Contract Management: Understanding of contract law, terms, and conditions.
  • Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and contractors.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve project-related issues.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using relevant software and tools, such as BIM software, cost estimation software, and project management software

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
