Quantity Surveyor

Desertrose Landscaping LLC is a leading landscaping company in Oman, dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective landscaping solutions. We are currently looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ).
• Manage project costs to ensure value for money while meeting quality standards.
• Handle contract management including preparation, negotiation, and administration.
• Conduct regular measurement and valuation of works completed.
• Provide accurate project cost reports and forecasts.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and industry standards.

• Strong knowledge of cost estimation and budgeting.
• Proficiency in BOQ preparation.
• Experience in contract management and administration.
• Ability to perform measurement and valuation effectively.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying (or related field).
• 2–3 years of proven work experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of construction/landscaping industry practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software/tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
