Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Pre-Construction

• Collaborate with design teams to prepare cost estimates and feasibility studies at concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.
• Develop and maintain cost plans and elemental breakdowns aligned with design evolution.
• Lead value engineering exercises — proposing materials, systems, and construction methods to achieve design intent within budget.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation for procurement.
• Evaluate tenders and assist in contractor selection.

Construction & Administration

• Administer contracts and manage cost-related communications with contractors and consultants.
• Track and forecast project expenditures to maintain budget control.
• Review, evaluate, and negotiate variations and claims.
• Prepare and certify interim payment applications.

Post-Construction

• Finalize project accounts and prepare cost reports.
• Provide post-project analysis for continuous improvement and benchmarking.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field.
• Minimum [X] years of experience, preferably within a design-led or multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and design processes.
• Excellent knowledge of cost planning, tendering, and contract administration.
• Proficient in QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel) and BIM integration.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
