Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents based on drawings and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and perform cost analysis for project budgeting and forecasting.
- Evaluate and verify contractor quotations and vendor bills for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage procurement of materials, subcontractor agreements, and cost control throughout project execution.
- Monitor and record project progress and assess variations / change orders for approval.
- Prepare and maintain cost reports, cash flow statements, and budget forecasts.
- Support in negotiating contracts, claims, and final settlements with contractors and vendors.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project flow.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and quantities for certification and billing purposes.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Quantity Surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or Primavera).
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost and measurement calculations.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
