Responsibilities :

• Perform independent quantity take-offs.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and Methods of Measurement (MOMs).
• Prepare high-level (elemental) BOQs.
• Participate in value engineering workshops.
• Attend meetings with the clients to discuss BOQs & MOMs.
• Coordinate with architects and different design trades to understand the design scope.
• Review design changesand assessimplications on BOQ.
• Manage the compilation of the entire BOQ from all design disciplines.
• Maintain logs for measurement records.
• Participate in internal reviews of BOQs and adopt feedback from senior staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 5 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Work experience on international projects (Middle East region) is an added advantage.
• Must have worked in the Building Projects with knowledge of the quantification process of civil, architecture and interior works.
• Must be aware of preparing different BOQ formats (For example, CSI, POMI, CESSM, NRM, etc.)
• Proficient in Excel, Revit and AutoCAD.
