We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor cum Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary

The Quantity Surveyor cum Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, project pricing, material take-offs, and tender submissions. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of the interior fit-out industry and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Costing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and scope to ensure accurate pricing.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for materials, finishes, joinery, and MEP works (when required).
• Evaluate subcontractor & supplier quotations and negotiate competitive rates.

Quantity Surveying & Documentation

• Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and material summaries.
• Assist in preparing tender documents and RFP submissions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering solutions.
• Maintain accurate project costing records and databases.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with the design, production, and project management teams for clarifications.
• Support project managers with cost updates and variations.
• Prepare variation claims, revised quotations, and updated BOQs during the project.

Market & Supplier Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Source new vendors to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years’ UAE experience in interior design and fit-out (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, and market pricing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office, and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial, residential, retail, or office fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of MEP cost estimation is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
