Responsibilities
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities based on drawings and specifications
- Monitoring project costs and controlling expenditures throughout the project lifecycle
- Measuring works executed on site and certifying contractor payments and interim payment certificates
- Preparing and evaluating variations, claims, and change orders
- Managing contracts, including interpretation of contract conditions and advising on contractual matters
- Forecasting final project costs and identifying potential cost risks at an early stage
- Preparing tender documents, analyzing bids, and recommending award based on cost and compliance
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure financial clarity and cost control
- Preparing final accounts and ensuring proper close-out of financial matters at project completion
- Maintaining proper records of measurements, costs, and correspondence for audit and reporting purposes
