Quantity Surveyor

OGO Contacting is looking for Quantity Surveyor who can join immediately on cancelled or Visit Visa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing financial documents.
• Preparing estimates for material costs.
• Allocating work to Sub-Contractors.
• Identify commercial risk.
• Prepare and review tender documents, bills of quantities, and contractual agreements.
• Track and report on project progress, including cost performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed estimates for new projects.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and evaluate proposals.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant legislation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide financial insights and recommendations.

- Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions and documentation.

• Assist in the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement cost control measures and optimize resource allocation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost control within the construction industry, preferably in Dubai or the GCC region.
• Proven experience in managing costs for residential and commercial .construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and financial management principles.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• 3-4 years Experience in construction project management, , Contracting with maintenance preferably in Dubai.
