About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join our Riyadh-based team, driving accurate cost estimation and contract management across large-scale construction projects. This role requires a strong technical foundation in quantity take-offs and AutoCAD, combined with exceptional negotiation skills to secure optimal contract terms.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
- Negotiate changes, variations, and claims with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Monitor project costs and prepare regular budget reports and forecasts
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to control expenses
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend cost-saving measures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction projects
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven expertise in cost estimation and quantity take-off methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for measurement and drawing interpretation
- Strong contract negotiation skills with a track record of favorable outcomes
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, CIOB)
- Experience with ERP or project management software (SAP, Primavera)
- Fluency in Arabic and English for effective client and team communication
- Background in risk management and cost control tools
- Experience on mega-projects or government contracts in the Gulf region
