Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dubai for a Quantity Surveyor. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), managing project budgets, planning and monitoring costs, and providing accurate cost reporting. The role involves working closely with the design and project management teams to ensure precision in all cost-related aspects of interior design and construction projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management
• Proficiency in preparing and handling Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Experience in Cost Planning and Budgeting for projects
• Ability to effectively handle Cost Reporting and financial analysis for projects
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Experience in interior design or construction projects is an advantage

• 3 to 7 years of Experience as Quantity Surveyor / Estimator, with minimum 3 years in UAE. Knowledge of FIDIC and POMI is a plus.

• Ability to take off quantities, Rate analysis, tender pricing and analysis, knowledge of market rates, getting relevant information from the market, rate and cost comparisons, study BOQ with drawings, quotations and specifications, Invoicing, manage sub contract invoices and certification, raise contract invoices to consultant / client and get certification, keeping track of all relevant measurements with backups and substantiation.

• Ability to coordinate with client / consultant and engage and co-ordinate with sub-contractors and other project members and having strong communication skills.

• Candidates should be proficient in the use if Autocad and MS excel.

• Should have Completed Bachelors in Civil Engineering / or equivalent, with Quantity surveying / Estimation background preferable

•The ability to influence others is an important skill for negotiation
