Key ResponsibilitiesCost Planning & Control
- Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and cost estimates.
- Monitor and control project costs against approved budgets.
- Prepare cost reports highlighting variations and forecast final accounts.
- Advise management on cost-saving and value engineering opportunities.
Measurement & Billing
- Prepare and verify BOQs, quantity take-offs, and measurement sheets.
- Prepare monthly interim payment applications (IPC).
- Evaluate and certify subcontractor invoices and variations.
- Measure completed works for valuation and certification.
Contract Administration
- Assist in preparation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts.
- Handle variations, claims, and change orders.
- Maintain contractual correspondence and records.
- Assist in Extension of Time (EOT) and claim cost impact assessment.
Procurement Support
- Prepare tender documents, scope of work, and comparison statements.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and assist in finalization.
- Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to align cost and schedule.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare monthly commercial reports for management.
- Maintain records for payments, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Support project close-out and final account settlement.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning Engineers, and QA/QC teams.
- Attend progress, commercial, and coordination meetings.
- Liaise with consultants and clients on commercial matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
- 3–8 years of experience in civil/building construction projects.
- Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects preferred.
- Minimum 3years of UAE experience is required.
