Role Overview

GSO Qatar is seeking a Civil / Structural Quantity Surveyor (STCA) to manage quantity measurement, cost estimation, progress verification, and commercial documentation for civil and structural works in Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and update civil/structural quantities based on drawings, IFC documents, and site conditions.
• Develop BOQs, cost estimates, and material take-offs for civil projects.
• Verify contractor invoices, progress claims, and variation orders.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Maintain quantity records, logs, and cost documents for project control.
• Prepare monthly commercial and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years’ QS experience in Oil & Gas civil/structural projects (Qatar/GCC preferred).
• Strong knowledge of measurement standards for concrete, steel, earthworks, and structural elements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.
