Sr. Structural Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in structural design, analysis, and supervision for large-scale building or infrastructure projects. The candidate must be fully familiar with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS), Ashghal requirements, and local authority approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for buildings, infrastructure, and civil structures.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, contractors, and clients.
• Conduct site inspections, technical reviews, and resolve site-related engineering issues.
• Manage project timelines, technical deliverables, and quality control processes.
• Support tendering activities, including BOQs, design proposals, and technical evaluations.
• Liaise with local approval authorities (Ashghal, MMUP/UPDA, Civil Defense) as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of structural design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Proven experience with high-rise buildings, commercial structures, or infrastructure projects.
• UPDA/MMUP is a must.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiar with international codes and Qatar local authority regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
