Quantity Surveyor – High-Rise BuildingProfile Summary

Quantity Surveyor with hands-on experience in high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use building projects. Strong background in cost control, BOQ preparation, tendering, and contract administration across all project stages. Experienced in managing complex vertical construction costs, variations, and subcontractor payments while ensuring budget compliance and timely project delivery.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesPre-Contract

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs for high-rise structures
• Assist in cost planning, estimates, and feasibility studies
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope of works
• Support tendering, bid analysis, and commercial evaluations

Post-Contract

• Prepare interim valuations and monthly progress claims
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow
• Evaluate variations, change orders, and subcontractor claims
• Measure executed works and certify subcontractor payments

Commercial & Contract Management

• Assist in contract administration (FIDIC / bespoke contracts)
• Maintain cost reports and financial summaries
• Support final account preparation and settlement
• Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams

High-Rise Building Expertise

• Cost control for structural works, post-tension slabs, façades, MEP, and finishes
• Coordination with MEP, façade, and design consultants
• Experience with phased handovers and vertical construction logistics
