Quantity Surveyor

We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team in the construction and infrastructure sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for projects.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure work is completed within budget.
  • Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to identify cost implications.
  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison reports.
  • Conduct site visits to track progress and verify completed work for payment.
  • Prepare interim valuations, variation orders, and final accounts.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost control and project efficiency.
  • Assist in procurement and tendering processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying within construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
