Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in post-contract activities. The candidate will be responsible for cost control, billing, and commercial management of projects, ensuring proper documentation and timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify interim payment applications (IPC) and invoices
• Measure work done and prepare quantity take-offs as per drawings
• Track project costs and monitor budget vs actual expenses
• Assist in cost control and financial reporting
• Prepare variations, claims, and change order documentation
• Evaluate and process subcontractor payments
• Ensure all supporting documents such as drawings, WIR, MIR, Dpr and delivery notes are properly maintained for billing
• Coordinate with site team, planning engineer, and project manager for progress verification
• Maintain records of BOQ, contracts, and project documents
• Support in final account preparation and project close-out

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 2–5+ years of experience as Quantity Surveyor
• Experience in construction / steel fabrication projects
• UAE experience preferred

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of quantity take-off and BOQ
• Experience in billing, IPC, and cost control
• Familiarity with contract terms and variations
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Knowledge of Excel and QS-related software
