Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

  • Review & Preparation of Tender & Contract Documents including bills of quantities, preparation of preliminary estimates to define project budgets.
  • Review and recommendation of contractor's claim and variation.
  • Review and preparing all kinds of DCR.
  • Review and preparing BOQ'S &RBOQ's.
  • Review and preparing Quantity take-off and materials surveying based on the plans and specifications.
  • Review and making rate analysis for change orders items.
  • Review, supervise and preparing quantities measurement and supporting documents when required as well as review contractor’s payment certificates.
  • Preparing and pricing Change Orders and negotiating agreement with the Client and Contractor as necessary.
  • Negotiating contracts with the contractor.
  • Performing cost planning in order to assist all members of the design team arrive at practical solutions and stay within the project budget.
  • Review, and preparing monthly progress with the coordinate of site engineers for monthly invoices.
  • Review, and preparing monthly cash flow.
  • Participating in the beginning of the procurement process and negotiating to ensure the set budget is not exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of civil engineering.
  • 12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in quantity survey, drawings survey, modeling, interim payment auditing, evidence documents enclosed with interim payment documents.
  • Having good command in quantity survey using computer software and related software.
  • Strong English communication skills
