Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, market research, procurement coordination, and warehouse/material control to support ongoing construction and fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and rate comparisons for materials, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Take accurate site measurements and prepare quantity take-offs
• Prepare detailed quantity calculations, cost estimations, and BOQs
• Coordinate effectively with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams
• Monitor project material usage and ensure proper cost control
• Manage and monitor warehouse operations, including tools, materials, and asset coordination/control
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, material movements, and site requirements
• Assist in supplier evaluation and procurement planning
• Ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for project execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, construction, or fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of estimation, quantity take-offs, and cost control
• Experience coordinating with procurement and site teams
• Good understanding of construction materials and market rates
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; experience with estimation software is an advantage
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage warehouse/material tracking efficiently
