Quantity Surveyor

• Pre-measure allocated trades and sections at contract start up.
• Make complete site inspections on a regular basis.
• Recording measurements and variations.
• Communicate with Operation Team on site.
• Understanding the work program and progress on site
• Measure work completed from drawings, schedules and variations.
• Measure work completed on site but not specified in the drawings and make report accordingly.
• Make report discrepancies between actual construction and drawings
• Prepare costs and new rates.
• Convert all items measured into final measure valuations.
• Agree quantities with the Project’s QS representatives.
• Measure Sub-contractor for monthly payments.
• Collate contra charges from site, measure Sub-contractor work for final; accounts.
• Prepare and solicit quotations from suppliers.
• Prepare measurements required for budgets and estimates.
• Check costs on monthly basis for reconciliation and reporting monitor.
• Prepare sub-contract documents, payments and final accounts
