- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and models.
- Prepare BOQs, material quantities, and cost estimates for tenders, variations, and project planning.
- Ensure accuracy of quantities and alignment with design revisions.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams for clarification during estimation.
- Prepare and verify monthly running bills for clients and contractors.
- Generate RA bills, final bills, subcontractor bills, and certification documents.
- Ensure that all billing is as per contract terms, drawings, and site execution.
- Maintain updated measurement sheets and billing records.
- Monitor project costs, prepare cost reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost forecasting.
- Track material consumption, labour productivity, and reconcile with approved quantities.
- Support management in ensuring projects stay within approved budgets.
- Review contract agreements, tender documents, and technical specifications.
- Prepare rate analysis, extra item approval documentation, and variation claims.
- Maintain records of correspondence, site instructions, and commercial documents.
- Support project managers in contractual negotiations.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify work progress and measurements.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, contractors, and procurement teams.
- Identify discrepancies and report variations or deviations promptly.
