Quantity Surveyor & Billing Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Billing Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have solid UAE experience, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to manage project billing, cost control, and quantity surveying activities efficiently. Candidates with experience in construction, interior fit-out, or facility management projects will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review project bills, invoices, interim payments, and final settlement documents.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs, material measurements, and cost estimations for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Verify subcontractor bills, variations, and claims in line with project specifications and contractual terms.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, procurement, and finance to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
• Maintain updated records of work executed, certified quantities, and contract variations.
• Assist in the preparation of BOQs, tender documents, costing sheets, and commercial proposals.
• Monitor project budgets, cost performance, and financial progress to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
• Conduct site visits to verify physical progress and validate billing accuracy.
• Prepare monthly billing reports, dashboards, and project cost summaries for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and UAE standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in Billing, QS, or related commercial roles.
• UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Strong background in construction, interior fit-out, or facility management projects.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
