Quantity Surveyor Engineer- Arabic Speaking

Overview

The Quantity Surveyor Engineer (E2) is responsible for managing all aspects of cost planning, estimation, budgeting, and financial control for construction projects. The role ensures that projects are delivered within approved budgets while maintaining quality and contractual compliance. The engineer will support supervision activities and coordinate closely with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate contractor claims, interim payments, and final accounts.
  • Review and verify measurements, drawings, and specifications.
  • Support supervision activities for construction projects, ensuring adherence to contractual and financial requirements.
  • Manage and assess variations, claims, and change orders in coordination with the project team.
  • Ensure compliance with contract conditions and project procedures.
  • Prepare cost reports and provide regular updates to management.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve cost-related issues.
  • Assist in risk assessment and value engineering to optimize project costs.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supervision projects, preferably in similar types of construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration, and quantity surveying practices.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
